November, 11th, 1889, the saddler Karl Seeger founded in the leather city Offenbach am Main, its leather goods factory. Already in the first years of its existence the company has grown to an internationally renowned leather goods and travel goods manufacturer. Leather goods of Seeger company were awarded at the world exhibitions at Paris in 1937 and in 1958 at Brussels with gold medals. This tradition lives in the company named Seeger Lederwaren International Ltd. now still today.

Famous customers: for the conductor Leonard Bernstein Seeger produced a special case holding 24 batons. Pope Paul VI Seeger ordered a luggage made of white leather with leather lining and an embossed emblem. Famous actors and even American Presidents were among Seeger customers.
